Test your Mettle - Kokoda 12 Hour Challenge
Gamers from across South East Queensland will be able to take part in a unique combat entertainment event, the 12 Hour Kokoda Challenge, which is to be held later this month.
Date: Sat 14-01-2012
Time: 10:00 - 22:00
(registration opens at 09:00)
Location: Karingal Camp, Karingal Rd, Mt Cotton
(the main base will be at the Bimbimbi site)
Price: $77 per person ($70 for own gun or season/annual pass discount)
Mission: Based on events from Kokoda.
Breaks: There will be 2 x 1 hour meal breaks (BYO food) |
Organised by local Battlefield LIVE outfit, the special event is being conducted for the fourth time on January 14th 2012.
The marathon event is designed to attract the most hard-core gamers to the popular Laser Skirmish battlefield of Mt Cotton.
Unlike weekly battlefield live games this event will be run for 12 hours, starting from 10am and completing at 10pm.
This is the ultimate challenge for high-end gamers will be a chance to claim the kudos for endurance gaming.
This special event is just one in a series of special events throughout 2012 which celebrates Battlefield LIVE tenth anniversary running combat games in SEQ.
Entry for the 12 hour Kokoda Challenge costs $77pp.

- Good qualitity foot wear, the mission is played over a large area
