Gamers, prepare to "lock and load" for laser combat when Battlefield
LIVE
comes to an event near you. Thrill-seekers, teens, and game enthusiasts
alike will want to experience this new event for themselves.
Inspired by popular video games such as Halo
3 and Counter
Strike, Battlefield LIVE is a live combat simulation. Inflatable
bunkers and barricades draw gamers into a realistic and
visually stunning 3D combat adventure.
Our Gaming guns use a harmless infrared beam, like your TV
remote, that tags sensors worn by players. “Under the guidance
of your Mission Major, players undertake different missions with
game objectives such as evasion, stealth, preservation and
pursuit tactics,” said Nicole Lander, Battlefield LIVE Colonel.
“The inflatable battlefield creates a maze of rooms and
corridors. Teens love the missions because all the guns have
red-dot scopes for fast target acquisition,” she said.
The game Battlefield LIVE is rated "E" ("Everyone") because
there is no age limit. “My favourite mission is the
Death-Match Mega Battle where all participants play the entire
time, no matter how many times they get shot. If they are
"killed" then they just go back to their start point and their
referee re-boots their gaming gun and they right back into the
battle!” she said.
This new style of game is exciting for both the participant and
the spectator.
